I'm a Florida / Chicago wedding + family photographer who believes in the importance of legacy through images.
I take photos of people who exude love and joy in their most authentic moments.
You never realize how valuable a photo is until time passes.
It might be days later. Maybe only months. Or it might be years … or even decades later.
But that photo. It becomes more treasured and irreplaceable as the people in that image change, grow and look a whole lot different.
I’m Brittany, and I’ve always been “the girl with a camera”. I basically lived in my high year school yearbook office. A personal historian by default, I feel most alive when I am capturing the true essence of my clients and their family stories.
It wasn’t until I ditched my corporate advertising gig 14 years ago to build my photography business I realized what I had been chasing. My purpose.
To freeze moments. To create a legacy. To hold time still.
I mean … c’mon, I hate admitting that because it is basically as cliche as a photography about page can be, right? But my heart pulls me to sweet families and modern romantics who value the art of photography and the importance of documenting fleeting moments in time.
I became a mother and lost my own mother in 15 months. It forever changed the photos I take + cling to.
I strive to capture connection over perfection. I combine your energy, your rhythms and your vibrations with my visual perspective.
It is my goal to tell THE story.
The story of how every year, your family escapes to the beach of Florida. Or how this family vacation will forever live in your minds because you spent it laughing and chasing the sun. Or how your Saturday morning tradition is to make pancakes and float in the pool.
