I stalk the weather the 24 hours before our session, and if it looks like it will rain during our session, we will reschedule. During rainy season in Florida, afternoon showers pop up quickly and tend to last only a short time. If you are worried about rain, a sunrise session in Florida is safer as the mornings tend to be dry. Cloudy skies provide soft, diffused light which is beautiful for photos, so don't stress about that.
